Our latest travel to Peru has been something else. Not only did I get to reunite with my dad, we got to see all the different climates and landscapes Peru has to offer. From jungle to mountains and from beach to desert, we’ve admired and experienced it all. But not only that, I also got to meet this beautiful couple: María and Piero.
We met through fellow wedding photographer Frank Andonaire, who I reached out to before going to Peru. We decided to hang out, explore Lima, have drinks and shoot. There was a language barrier, but somehow we made it work. When Spanglish fails, Google Translate comes to the rescue.
Peru is incredibly photogenic and so were María and Piero. They have been together for over 10 years, but this month, they’re finally getting married. They were an absolute treat to photograph. There was this delicacy between them, that you could sense by the way they locked eyes. But also an unmistakable passion. You could see it in the way they held each other, the way they kissed.
I’m so thankful we got to meet and spend time together. Thank you so much Frank for introducing me to these lovebirds!
